Not much! You just need to know that "Website In A Box" packages aren't for everyone. They're not intended for large businesses or for website owners who want a significant amount of high-level customization. These are turnkey, simple, all-inclusive websites that are intended to best serve small businesses, individuals, churches, small nonprofit organizations, volunteer groups, and others who want a simple, affordable, professional website.
We'll ask you which package option you wish to purchase (all-inclusive website only for $975 or all-inclusive website with 1 year of hosting, 1 year of SSL certificate, 1 year of Content Management System (CMS), and up to 2 hours of included design or content revisions or post-launch support for $1375). Then, we'll ask how you'd like to pay (in full, upfront; or 50% deposit and 50% before the site launches).
Next, we'll send you a simple, online questionnaire to ask you about your preferences, ideas, "wish list", and goals for your site. We'll also ask you about your logo and branding, photos, and content for the site (including text).
We'll use the information and content that you provide (combined with our professional recommendations) to design and build your website.
We'll incorporate your ideas and ours to create a sophisticated, fully-functional website that's mobile-optimized and ready to launch!
If you don't already have a domain name (web address) registered, we'll help you (you always own your domain with us!)...a website domain should cost about $20 per year, billed by your domain registrar. Then, we'll share a preview version of your finished website with you. If you approve, we'll work with your domain registrar and secure your website hosting to launch your site.
If you have change requests of any kind, the cost is $150 per hour with a 1 hour minimum, per request. In order to use the robust Content Management System (CMS), you'll need to use our recommended platform's hosting services. You may either purchase our package that includes 1 year of hosting (with CMS and SSL Certificate and up to 2 hours of included design or content revisions) or purchase hosting with CMS and SSL Certificate for approximately $300 per year*. PLEASE NOTE: Hosting is managed by the platform and hosting costs and features are subject to change.
Your "Website In A Box" package will include up to 5 pages; 10 images, 2 collections, 1 contact form and will be based on the responses that you provide to use via our online questionnaire and our own recommendations for the design, layout, functionality, and flow. Your website's text will be SEO-friendly (as much as possible based on your specific situation); and we'll do everything that we can to match your branding (colors, fonts, logos) based on the information that you provide from our questionnaire. Your hosting will include a Content Management System (CMS) that allows for updates to your site in-house. Specifically, you'll be able to add items into the collections (i.e. if one of your collections is that of "Services", you'll be able to add multiple entries into the "Services" collection). You'll be able to edit and add to the text. You'll be able to swap in fresh images/photos. Your hosting will also include an SSL Certificate (important for user confidence and SEO). If you don't yet have a domain (web address), we'll help you register the domain that you want (based on availability). You'll own your domain and we'll be sure that you have login credentials to manage your domain. Your package will include registration of your domain (if applicable) for 1 year. Continued renewal of your domain will be handled with your domain registrar (i.e. GoDaddy, BlueHost, NameCheap, etc.) and is typically a cost of about $20 per year with multi-year renewal discounts often available. Hosting is required for all websites. Our all-inclusive package at $1375 will include 1 year of hosting and other value-added features. After the first year (or with our $975 package), please allow for approximately $300 per year for your website's ongoing hosting (which will be managed and facilitated directly by the website's host/platform and will continue to include the Content Management System and SSL Certificate). Costs of hosting is subject to change and is handled by the website's hosting provider/website platform and not Standout Arts.
Domain-based email is not included. However, this option is available as an add-on. If interested, we'll provide you with a custom quote.

Design or content revisions of any kind (including font changes, color changes, text changes or any revisions related to the design, functionality, or layout of the site) are not included, but can be requested and billed at $150 per hour with a 1 hour minimum per request. NOTE: You'll be able to adjust or rework your text and images throughout your site with hosting, through the Content Management System that comes with your hosting plan.
Hosting is not included with the $975 package but can be added for $300 and is then to be renewed annually for approximately $300 per year (based on the pricing as determined by your website's hosting provider/platform...not managed by us.)
Domain name registration and renewal are required. Your package will include 1 year of domain name registration (if you don't already have your domain/web address). After the first year, you'll want to renew your domain name directly with the domain registrar. If we assisted in your domain's registration, we'll be sure that you have information on your domain's registrar and access to your account with the registrar. You always own your domain...even if we help you to register it with an official domain registrar (such as NameCheap or Google Domains).
Detailed project management, other graphic design, copywriting or marketing services (including consultation) are not included.
Logo design is not included.
Image editing is not included.
Database importing is not included.
Backups of any pre-existing websites are not included.
More than 1 domain is not included.
E-commerce hosting is not included (but can be added).
Certain customization requests may not possible, based on limitations of your website's platform.

Revisions or change requests to your website's look, layout, design, style, initial images, initial copy/text, form framework/structure, navigational menu, animations, dynamic effects, or other components are not included, but may be added at a rate of $150 per hour with a 1 hour minimum per request.
You may make a 1-time, upfront payment of either $975 or $1375 (to include 1 year of hosting with SSL Certificate and Content Management System and up to hours of change/design requests or post-launch support) or split either package ($975 package or $1375 package) into a 50% deposit due upfront with the balance due just prior to your website's launch. We will invoice you via email and you may pay online with any major credit card, processed securely through Stripe (billed by Standout Arts, LLC). Or, you may send a payment by check. Remittance instructions will be provided on all invoices. Payment is due within 7 business days. Payment must be received (either in full or 50% deposit) before work begins on your website.
Once we receive the responses from the simple online questionnaire that we'll provide to you, we'll get to work. Most websites are ready to launch within 2 weeks or less. If you have change requests (billed additionally), your website will require more lead time. If you already have a domain (web address), please note that Domain Name Server (DNS) settings issues or login issues related to your domain's registrar could delay your project. Every DNS change can take up to 48 hours to take effect.
If you're unavailable to provide answers to all of the questions within the questionnaire, or approval on your site, please note that your project may be delayed.
All projects are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Should our project volume exceed typical workflows, your project may require additional lead-time.
Once approved, payment is received in full, and barring any DNS issues, your website can go live within 24 hours (business days only).
Our $975 package includes your complete website (doesn't include design or content change requests or features outside of the scope of our "Website In A Box" package). Our $1375 also includes 1 year of hosting with Content Management System, SSL Certificate and up to 2 hours which can be used to accommodate any change requests, design tweaks, or to provide you with post-launch support.
We just want you to know that our "Website In A Box" package options aren't right for everyone. They're not intended for large businesses or website owners who want a robust marketing site or a site with high levels of customization. Our "Website In A Box" packages are intended to best serve very small businesses or nonprofit organizations who need a professional website quickly at an affordable, one-time design and development investment.
It's important to note that "Website In A Box" packages DO have limitations. We don't include change requests - which could apply to font or color choices, changes to the initial text (though you'll be able to change the text through the Content Management System with hosting), changes to the initial photos that we use on your site (though you'll be able to update or swap photos through the Content Management System with hosting). However, we use the information that YOU provide to us (including images that you supply to us) to build the site's initial content as well as help determine its look, layout, and style (all of which are reflected through the font choices, colors, and more -- all of which we ask you about when we send you our questionnaire to get started).
The site doesn't include more than 5 pages (though you can grow your site through posts and add-on items within the Content Management System), more than 10 images (though you can add or change the images through the Content Management System), more than 1 contact form, or more than 2 collections ("Collections" are defined as Content Management System collection categories into which you add multiple entries. This could be a blog where we create a blog "collection" and then you post multiple blog entries within the collection. Or, this could be an events "collection" where you then post multiple event entries into the collection. Other common "collections" are Team/Staff; FAQ; Food/Drink Menus; Request For Proposals; Employment Opportunities; etc.)
Other limitations may also apply, including limitations that are due to the site's platform. While it's a professional platform (not WiX or SquareSpace or another DIY site builder), the platform is intended to best serve small businesses or organizations who need simple websites.
All websites require a domain name and hosting in order to be live, online.
Domain names must be registered through an official domain registrar (like Google Domains or NameCheap or GoDaddy). Typically, most .com domain names are around $10-$20 for initial registration and $10-$25 annually, with multi-year registration discounts sometimes available from the registrar. If you don't yet have a domain name, we'll register one that best matches your preferred domain (based on domain name availability) and will provide you with all of the login details to manage your domain with your registrar. You own your domain. If you already have a domain, we'll need login access to the registrar before your site can go live. Please be sure that you have your login credentials available to us prior to your site's estimated launch date to help ensure that there aren't delays in launching your site.
Hosting with your website's platform is approximately $300 per year. Your first year is included if you select the $1375 package. Each year that you renew your hosting plan, you'll continue to receive your Content Management System (CMS) for in-house updates and management and the included SSL Certificate.
Email is not included, though it may be available as an add-on.
E-commerce is not included, though it may be available as an add-on.
Your investment in your site's design and development with Standout Art's "Website In A Box" is a one-time investment, barring any additional services that you request, which are billed separately.
